Lymphatic drainage & Endosphere in Alpharetta, GA
Recovery after contouring, swelling
From $175 per session New · launchingIn short
The lymphatic system drains fluid from the tissues, and it has no pump of its own — it moves when muscles move, or when something moves it. Mechanical lymphatic drainage does exactly that: a handpiece works across the body in the direction the lymph flows, moving fluid toward the nodes that clear it. After contouring it reduces swelling and speeds recovery; on its own it relieves heaviness and puffiness. Nothing felt but pressure, no downtime, $175 a session.
How it actually works
The mechanism, plainly.
Blood is pumped; lymph is not. The fluid that leaves the bloodstream to bathe the tissues returns through a separate network of vessels that depends on muscle movement and gentle external pressure to keep it flowing — which is why swelling collects when you sit still, and why it collects after a treatment that has disrupted fat or heated tissue. Lymphatic drainage applies rhythmic pressure along the vessels, always toward the nodes in the groin, armpits and neck, to move that fluid on.
The Endosphere handpiece does it mechanically, with rotating silicone spheres that deliver a compressive micro-vibration across the tissue as it is passed over the body — consistent pressure, in the right direction, over a large area, in one session. The practice uses it to keep contouring courses on schedule: swelling after EvolveX or QuantumRF is cleared rather than waited out. Device specifications and protocols are being finalised with the practice ahead of launch.

What to expect
The real table.
What we can state from the treatment itself is stated. What depends on your body is confirmed at the consult, in writing, not guessed here.
| Question | Lymphatic drainage & Endosphere |
|---|---|
| Session length | Confirmed at your consult |
| What it feels like | Firm, rhythmic pressure and vibration moving across the body — most people find it relaxing. Nothing sharp, nothing hot. |
| Numbing | None required. |
| Downtime | None |
| Number of sessions | As needed — after each contouring session for recovery, or a short series on its own. |
| When results appear | Lighter and less swollen the same day; the effect of a series builds. |

Candidacy
Who it is for — and who it isn't.
This is for you if
- You are on a contouring course and want the swelling between sessions dealt with rather than waited out.
- Your legs, abdomen or arms feel heavy or puffy after travel, long days or a sedentary stretch.
- You want a recovery treatment where nothing is felt but pressure, with no downtime.
This isn't for you if
- You are looking for fat reduction. Moving fluid is not removing fat; that is body contouring, and this is its recovery side.
- You have an active infection, a blood clot or a history of one, or a medical condition affecting the heart, kidneys or lymphatic system. Mechanical drainage is ruled out or needs clearance, and the screening asks.
- You are pregnant. Discussed case by case, with the medical director.
- You want it to replace the movement, water and sleep that keep fluid moving on its own. It complements them.
Candidacy is a clinical decision made at the consult, under physician direction. The content on this site is for general information and does not constitute medical advice or establish a physician–patient relationship. Candidacy for any treatment is determined during an in-person consultation. Individual results vary.

How it compares
Lymphatic drainage & Endosphere against manual lymphatic massage.
The hands-on version is the original. The device does the same job, mechanically and consistently.
| Lymphatic drainage & Endosphere | manual lymphatic massage | |
|---|---|---|
| Mechanism | Rotating spheres deliver compressive micro-vibration along the lymphatic pathways. | A therapist’s hands apply light, rhythmic strokes along the same pathways. |
| Pressure | Consistent, set by the device. | Varies with the therapist and the session. |
| Coverage | Large areas in one session. | Area by area, by hand. |
| Use after contouring | Scheduled between sessions as the recovery component of a course. | Also used; less consistent from visit to visit. |
| Price | $175 a session. | Set by the therapist. |
Who performs it
Under physician direction, every time.
Dr. Andrew Pugliese is our medical director and oversees every clinical protocol. Karen Heimbrecht, RN is clinical director and runs treatment delivery and training. Protocols are written and versioned, not improvised. More on how we work.
Questions
About Lymphatic drainage & Endosphere.
What does lymphatic drainage actually do?
It moves fluid. The lymphatic system has no pump; it relies on muscle movement and gentle pressure to return fluid from the tissues to the bloodstream. Drainage applies that pressure deliberately, along the vessels and toward the nodes, so swelling clears faster than it would on its own.
Why do you recommend it after body contouring?
Treatments that disrupt fat or heat tissue produce swelling as the body clears what was treated. Draining it between sessions is more comfortable, and it keeps a weekly course on schedule instead of waiting for each session’s swelling to settle by itself.
What is Endosphere?
A mechanical drainage device: a handpiece with rotating silicone spheres that delivers a compressive micro-vibration across the tissue as it is passed over the body, in the direction the lymph flows. Device specifications and the practice’s protocols are being finalised ahead of launch.
Does it hurt?
No. Firm, rhythmic pressure and vibration; most people find it relaxing. Tell the practitioner if anything feels too firm and the setting is lowered.
Is there any downtime?
None. Drink water afterwards — moving fluid on is the point — and carry on with your day.
How many sessions do I need?
After contouring, usually one after each treatment session. On its own, a short series and then as needed; the practitioner sets it from how you respond.
Does it reduce fat or cellulite?
It reduces swelling and the appearance that fluid gives the skin. It does not remove fat. Where fat is the goal, body contouring is the treatment and this is its recovery side.
What does it cost?
$175 a session. Inside a contouring programme or a named protocol, recovery sessions are written into the programme price. Full pricing.
