IV Therapy & Recovery

The part of the practice people keep coming back to.

The L(IV)E Lounge: infusions, NAD+ and lymphatic drainage — recovery that sits inside a contouring course rather than beside it, and stands on its own when you simply need to be put right. In the suite or at home.

In short

Recovery at BodyWorks is three things. An infusion delivers fluids, electrolytes and vitamins directly, bypassing digestion, in 30 to 60 minutes. NAD+ is given by injection or nasal spray. Lymphatic drainage is mechanical, and it is the step that follows a contouring session. Infusions and NAD+ book directly; drainage is usually written into a protocol. None of it is a cure for anything, and we will not tell you it is.

Which is right for me

A rough answer before you come in.

Your provider confirms it when you arrive. This gets you most of the way there.

If you have just had a contouring session —
lymphatic drainage is the recovery step, and it is usually written into the protocol rather than added at the desk. It is mechanical, it is comfortable, and there is no downtime.
If you are dehydrated or run down —
after travel, illness, heat or a hard week — that is an infusion: fluids, electrolytes and vitamins delivered directly, in 30 to 60 minutes, in the suite or at home.
If it is energy and clarity rather than hydration —
NAD+, by injection or nasal spray. Research into its benefits is still developing, and we say so; candidacy is reviewed before the first dose.
If you are mid-program —
recovery sits inside a contouring course rather than beside it. Ask at the consult and it is sequenced into the written protocol, priced alongside everything else.

Who performs it

Under physician direction, every time.

Dr. Andrew Pugliese is our medical director and oversees every clinical protocol. Samantha Thrower, BSN, RN, clinical director, runs treatment delivery and training; every infusion is monitored by a trained medical professional. Protocols are written and versioned, not improvised. Questions

About IV therapy and recovery.

Do I need a consult?

Not for an infusion or NAD+ — those book directly, with no $50 consult fee, and your provider reviews your goals and history when you arrive. If recovery is part of a contouring course, it is planned at The Private Consultation with everything else.

How long does an infusion take?

Typically 30 to 60 minutes. A small catheter is placed in the arm, and you read, rest or use your phone through a gentle, steady infusion, monitored by a trained medical professional. Most people begin to feel the effects shortly afterwards or within a few hours.

Can you come to me?

Infusions are given in the L(IV)E Lounge at the Alpharetta suite or at home. Tell us which when you book.

How often should I come?

It varies with your goals and how you live. Some people come occasionally — after travel, illness or a hard training block. Others put a session into a broader plan weekly or monthly. Where recovery is part of a contouring course, the schedule is set in the protocol. Your provider recommends a frequency that fits, without overuse.

What are the side effects?

Infusions are generally well tolerated when given by trained medical professionals. Mild effects can include temporary bruising, slight swelling or tenderness where the catheter went in, or a cool feeling in the arm during the infusion. Your provider reviews your history beforehand. NAD+ by injection can leave the site tender; the nasal spray can cause brief irritation or a mild headache in some people.

NAD+ injection or nasal spray — which?

Both bypass the digestive system. An intramuscular injection has the quicker onset; a subcutaneous injection is slower and gentler; the nasal spray is absorbed through the nasal cavity. Which suits you is a five-minute conversation with your provider, and it can change over time.

Who should not have NAD+?

People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and people with certain medical conditions or on certain treatments — medications, supplements, allergies and history are reviewed before the first session, which is why the assessment is not skipped for the sake of speed.

What does lymphatic drainage cost?

From $65 a session, priced by the number of areas (1 area $65, 2 areas $120, 3 areas $175). IV infusions start at $119, with IV memberships from $189 a month — see the full IV menu. NAD+ pricing is published on the pricing page the moment the practice confirms it.

Put right, or part of the plan?

Infusions and NAD+ book straight into the calendar — no $50 consult, in the suite or at home. If recovery belongs inside a contouring course, The Private Consultation writes it into the protocol.
