Botox & Dysport in Alpharetta, GA
Lines of expression — forehead, frown, crow’s feet
Price TBC confirmed in writing at your consult, before anything is booked New · launchingIn short
Botox and Dysport are neuromodulators: a tiny dose placed into a specific muscle stops that muscle from contracting fully, so the line it creases into the skin — forehead lines, the frown lines between the brows, crow’s feet — softens. It takes minutes, has no downtime, and lasts three to four months. The product is the same everywhere; what differs is who places it, and where. Book directly, no consult fee.
How it actually works
The mechanism, plainly.
Lines of expression are made by muscles: every time you raise your brows, frown or squint, the muscle folds the skin above it, and over years the fold becomes a line that is there at rest. A neuromodulator interrupts the signal from the nerve to the muscle at the point it is injected. That muscle relaxes for a few months, the skin over it stops being folded, and the line softens. It does nothing to lines that are not made by movement, which is why it is not the answer to laxity or lost volume.
Botox and Dysport are two brands of the same category of molecule, with small differences in how they spread and how fast they take effect; the injector chooses between them for the area and for you. The skill is in the map — which muscles, how many units, where exactly — because the same product placed a few millimetres differently gives a frozen forehead or a natural one. That is why the page is about the injector, not the brand.
What it treats
Specific areas, listed.
Lines made by movement. Look in a mirror and raise your brows, frown, then smile — the lines that appear are the ones this treats.
- — Forehead lines The horizontal lines from raising the brows.
- — Frown lines The vertical “elevens” between the brows.
- — Crow’s feet The lines at the outer corners of the eyes, from smiling and squinting.
- — Other areas, by assessment A softened jaw from clenching, a downturned mouth, neck bands — assessed individually by the injector.

Candidacy
Who it is for — and who it isn't.
This is for you if
- The lines bother you when you move your face — and you want them softened, not erased.
- You want to look rested rather than “done”, and you would rather have too little than too much on a first visit.
- You already know what you want and just need it placed well. Book directly.
This isn't for you if
- The lines are there at rest and do not deepen when you move. That is texture or volume — Morpheus8 or filler — and the injector will say so rather than treat it.
- It is a jawline or a neck that bothers you. Relaxing muscle does not tighten tissue; see the face hub.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a neuromuscular condition. Neuromodulators are ruled out, and the screening at booking asks.
- You want a guaranteed number of units before anyone has looked at your face. The number is set from your muscles, at the visit.
Candidacy is a clinical decision made at the consult, under physician direction. The content on this site is for general information and does not constitute medical advice or establish a physician–patient relationship. Candidacy for any treatment is determined during an in-person consultation. Individual results vary.

Questions
About Botox & Dysport.
Botox or Dysport — which is better?
Neither, in general. They are two brands of the same category of molecule with small differences in how they spread and how quickly they take effect; the injector chooses for the area and for you. The result depends far more on placement and dose than on the brand.
How many units will I need?
It depends on the area and on the strength of your muscles — a heavy frown needs more than a light one. The injector assesses your movement at the visit and confirms the number, and the price, with you before placing anything.
When does it start working, and how long does it last?
The effect begins over several days and is full by about two weeks; it lasts three to four months as the muscle gradually recovers. Most people book every three to four months.
Will I look frozen?
Not if it is placed well. A frozen look comes from too much product in the wrong muscles. Our injectors aim for softened lines with your expressions intact, and a first visit errs on the conservative side; a two-week check lets us adjust.
Does it hurt, and is there downtime?
The needle is very fine — a series of small pinches. There is no downtime; you can go back to work from the appointment. Small bumps at the injection points settle within the hour.
Do I need a consult first?
No. Injectables book directly, with no consult fee — book here. If you are not sure whether your lines are movement or something else, The Blueprint Consult covers the whole face; the injector will also tell you plainly at the visit if a neuromodulator is not the right treatment.
What does it cost?
Per-unit pricing is being finalised ahead of launch and is published on the pricing page the moment it is confirmed. The total for your visit is confirmed with you before anything is placed.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes, and most people do — neuromodulators, filler and tightening treatments solve different problems. Sequencing matters slightly, and your injector plans it.
Lines of expression, placed by an injector.
No consult fee for injectables. Book a direct appointment; the injector assesses your movement, confirms the units and the price, and places it in the same visit.
