QuantumRF Face & Neck is a minimally invasive procedure for jowls, a softened jawline and neck laxity. Under local anaesthetic, a fine cannula delivers fractionated radiofrequency beneath the skin, contracting the tissue that supports the lower face and neck without an incision or a general anaesthetic. One in-office treatment under physician direction, with a few days of downtime. It moves you part of the way toward what a lift does; how far is assessed honestly at the consult.
How it actually works
The mechanism, plainly.
A neck loses its edge when the tissue under the skin — the fibrous layer that holds it to the structures beneath — loosens, often with a small pocket of fat under the chin. Surface treatments heat that layer through the skin and are limited by how much energy the skin can take. QuantumRF delivers the energy from inside: after local anaesthetic, a fine cannula — the 25-gauge is the finest of the set — is passed beneath the skin through a small entry point and releases fractionated radiofrequency directly into that layer.
Heated to a controlled temperature, the tissue contracts, and any fat in the treated zone is reduced at the same time. The skin surface is protected because the energy is under it, and the tightening develops as the tissue remodels in the months that follow. It contracts what is there; it does not remove skin. That is the honest boundary between this and a surgical lift, and it is why the procedure is performed under physician direction rather than offered as a facial.
